HERS Software Development

CCHRC is researching and developing guidelines for AHFC staff to use when reviewing software for acceptance as meeting the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) standard. This includes developing a methodology to be used for testing the accuracy of HERS software for Alaska purposes. The purpose of this project is to create the mechanisms that allow AHFC to meet the legislative requirements of HB297 that AHFC be the certifying agency for HERS.
